Cottee’s Schools 5-a-Side will bring together a number of local schools participating in football matches on smaller fields in a round robin format at local venues. Some students will also have the chance to represent their school in a number of football challenges throughout the day.

Your school must enter three teams - a boys, girls and mixed team. The Cottee’s Schools 5-a-Side will provide students - who may or may not have played before - the opportunity to experience and be introduced to football in a fun environment. The focus is entirely on enjoyment and participation, as there will be no winners or scores recorded. At the completion of the day, your school will also receive an easy to understand football education resource pack for teachers to implement football activities and lunchtime 5-a-side events within your school.
